Summer Happenings at MADD Eugene!

Large Rectangle
It has been a fun-filled summer so far for the MADD Eugene Affiliate Office. A few highlights include the MADD Team Eugene participating in a virtual walk for the MADD Pacific NW Region's Walk Like MADD, Saturday, June 28th. We had a total of sixteen walkers join us in a short walk around the MADD Memorial Garden and Alton Baker Parker pathways. In total as a team we raised $1,500. It was a perfect day and fun was had by all.

On July 19th many of us gathered at the MADD Memorial Garden for a commemoration of the one year anniversary of the MADD Memorial Garden- A Victim Healing Place and to celebrate 25 years of MADD service in our community. Native, Painted Lady Butterflies were released to represent the 60 victim names on the honor wall there.

And on July 27th we were invited to participate in the National Night Out Kick-Off event. Nearly 300 families attended and several children stopped by the MADD booth. Kiki Cummings, Deb Weaver and Ashley and Julie Buller helped with greeting and sharing.

Wishing you a happy and safe summer!
