Large Rectangle
In honor of National Law Enforcement Week, Gresham Police Department held their annual awards ceremony on May 14th, honoring all law enforcement officers throughout the country and officers and citizens who have made outstanding contributions to the Police Department and/or community, as recognized by Gresham Police. Major political figures of Gresham, such as the Mayor and Chief of Police, the press and other award presenters were part of the program. Additionally, Mothers Against Drunk Drivers honored the top six Gresham PD officers who tallied the most DUII arrests for the year 2007 - Officer Tim Snider, Officer Jeff Durbin, Officer Bob Harley, Officer Ted Van Beek, Officer David Snider and Officer Lindsay Friderich. These awards were presented to the officers by the Portland Affiliate's Executive Director, Joseph Ehrheart; along with MADD volunteers Steve and Janie Lydon. MADD's strong presence and award presentations are major steps in our efforts to tell the Portland Metropolitan area that
