April 14th - Crime Victims' Rights Week Commemoration in Salem

Large Rectangle
The Crime Victims' Assistance Annual Commemoration ceremony in recognition of National Crime Victims' Rights week. The theme this year is: Justice For Victims, Justice For All

Attorney General Hardy Myers has been a champion for victims and victims' rights during his time as Attorney General. In light of his retirement this year, Crime Victims' Assistance is honoring him at the Commemoration for his service to victims of crime. This is a chance to give the Attorney General state wide recognition for his work on behalf of victims. Crime Victims' Assistance has been compiling a memory book with entries from around the state to present to him at the Commemoration. If you would like to add your thoughts to a page, you will have the chance to do so at the Commemoration. In addition, 2008 marks the 30th anniversary of the Crime Victims' Assistance Section services.
